NEW YORK – The Xavier University Musketeers are playing against the Texas A&M Aggies for the NIT championship at Madison Square Garden Thursday night.
The Aggies are 4.5-point favorites and the over/under point total is set at 137.5.
The Musketeers face another SEC foe as interim coach Jonas Hayes closes out his tenure in the role for Xavier.
Both the Aggies and the Musketeers were among the small group of teams that narrowly missed the NCAA Tournament.
Hayes will be replaced by Sean Miller, who was recently hired to replace Travis Steele.
