TUCSON, Ariz. — A pair of Xavier freshman, Lane Flamm and Jack Housinger, were named to the 2019 Collegiate Baseball Freshmen All-American team, powered by Diamond.
Lane Flamm emerged as the Musketeers' go-to closer in his freshman season, appearing in 25 games as a reliever, posting a 2.68 ERA in relief. Flamm has collected a team-high eight saves in 53.2 innings of work this season.
Flamm has allowed just 16 earned runs to 47 strikeouts overall. He set a season-high with five striekouts in 3.
