CINCINNATI – Xavier men's basketball defeated Georgetown, 66-57, on Wednesday evening at Cintas Center. Freshman scored a career-high 18 points in the contest as Xavier snapped their three-game losing streak. and both added double-doubles for the Musketeers, leading them to their second BIG EAST Conference victory of the season.
- Xavier's first field goal of the game came off a hook shot jumper from Jason Carter with 17:45 left to play in the first half, tying the score at 4-4. On the next possession, the Musketeers took the lead following a three-pointer made by Naji Marshall from the left side.
