KyKy Tandy's returning to Xavier University's men's basketball team, head coach Travis Steele told The Enquirer Friday afternoon.
The news comes almost three weeks after Tandy announced that he was entering the transfer portal to explore his options elsewhere.
Tandy was an All-Big East Conference freshman selection, then last season, as a sophomore, saw his playing time dwindle.
In Tandy's sophomore season, he played in 18 of Xavier's 21 games and averaged 14.7 minutes and 6.6 points, but his usage sank in Big East Conference play.
His return gives the Musketeers another option in the backcourt and another guy who can score, but it remains unclear what his role will be next season.
