Virginia transfer Kadin Shedrick, a 6-foot-11 forward from North Carolina who entered the portal after playing the past three seasons for the Cavaliers in addition to a redshirt year in Charlottesville, is considering Xavier among five finalists, according to a report Sunday night via Twitter from On3sports' Joe Tipton.
Tipton also reports that Duke, Texas, Missouri and Kansas State are finalists, with Shedrick's visit to Duke complete and visits with Texas and Mizzou scheduled for later this month.
Shedrick averaged 6.2 points, 3.8 rebounds and 1.4 blocks in 17.5 minutes per game in 30 games for UVA this past season, including 15 starts.
