The Asheville, N.C., native helped Xavier post a scoreless draw vs No. 3 Akron on Saturday, Oct. 14. He made five saves between the pipes vs the Zips.
Xavier held Akron scoreless for only the second time this season (also held scoreless vs Notre Dame on Sept. 19). Mennell now has a 1.00 goals against average, ranking tied for second in the BIG EAST.
