NORMAN, Okla. – Graduate student John Burger was named a Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar on Wednesday, continuing an impressive streak for the Xavier men's golf program. At least one Musketeer golfer has earned the honor in each season since 2009.
A total of 212 players in NCAA Division I earned the honor. To be eligible for Cleveland Golf/Srixon All-America Scholar status, an individual must be a junior or senior academically, compete in at least three full years at the collegiate level, participate in 50-percent of his team's competitive rounds, have a stroke-average under 76.
