CINCINNATI - Xavier Athletics Head Athletic Trainer Jody Jenike has announced that she will retire at the conclusion of the school year. Jenike is in her 29th year at Xavier and has watched nearly 3,000 student-athletes go through her training rooms.
"The time is right," Jenike said. "I have been thinking about this next chapter and with our recent renovation completed, this is a good time to transition. I have been blessed with so many positive relationships with student-athletes and coaches. Those relationships will continue and I have some amazing memories."
Just as Xavier's Athletics Department has changed dramatically over three decades, Jenike led a Sports Medicine transformation.
