Jack Nunge, who has played the past two seasons for the Xavier University Musketeers, announced Thursday via Twitter that he won't play a seventh season of college basketball, and will instead pursue a professional basketball career.
Nunge transferred to XU after spending his first four seasons with the Iowa Hawkeyes. He averaged 14.2 points, 7.8 rebounds, 2.1 assists and 1.2 blocks in 29.3 minutes per game last season and was named All-Big East honorable mention.
"College basketball, it is time for me to say goodbye. At times, it felt like I was going to be a student-athlete forever, LOL.
