TUCSON, Ariz. — Xavier left-handed pitcher Jack Lynch was named to the 2020 Collegiate Baseball Freshmen All-American team, powered by Diamond Sport, as a relief pitcher.
Lynch, who is originally from Dallas, posted a 1.50 ERA through 5.0 innings of work in five appearances during his rookie season, allowing just one earned run on four hits and a walk while striking out five.
Lynch picked up the first win of his college career in his first outing, helping the Musketeers to a 9-6 win against Memphis.
