It took about 30 minutes but Xavier finally found its form and pulled away from Ohio University 82-61 Wednesday night at the Cintas Center for the Musketeers' fourth straight win.
Paul Scruggs was the spark that lit the fire for Xavier.
Scruggs was all over the floor. When it was a close game late in the first half and early in the second half, Scruggs put Xavier on his back with a game-high 21 points, five rebounds and a career-high eight assists.
As Xavier was pulling away, though, junior forward Tyrique Jones went down with a scary injury with 2:11 left in the game.
