Paul Fritschner was a few minutes late.
He was on his way to Cintas Center on Friday for the final day of the Xavier Invitational when he remembered that he forgot to cut the tags off his new suit.
It was a little after 11 a.m. when Fritschner, a 2019 Xavier grad, was headed to work the official stats for a noon game between Xavier and Toledo, after which he'd slide to a different seat and work as a broadcaster for the 3 p.m. Oakland-Bradley game that was being streamed on FloSports, which is exactly what he'd done the last two days.
