Here are some coaches who could replace Travis Steele as Xavier's men's basketball coach

The expectation is for things to move quickly on a replacement for Travis Steele at Xavier.

When Steele and Athletic Director Greg Christopher met on Wednesday morning, hours after Xavier extended its season with a win over Cleveland State in the first round of the National Invitation Tournament, they arrived at a decision to part ways, Christopher told The Enquirer, and it's difficult to bottle that decision up and wait for the rest of the season to play out.

But the decision came days after Christopher told The Enquirer on Sunday night, "Like all of our sports and year-end conversations with head coaches, Travis and I will get together, but for now, we're focused on Cleveland State and a run in the NIT.
