NEW YORK - Josh Grant and Colin Hanley were named to the BIG EAST Weekly Honor Roll on Monday, earning weekly honors from the league for their parts in a 1-0 victory for Xavier men's soccer this past Saturday against Marquette.
The win moved the Musketeers to 8-4-2 on the season and helped XU get back to .500 in league play (3-3). Xavier is currently in fourth place in the league standings with nine points.
Grant, a senior midfielder, scored the game-winning goal unassisted in the 49th minute for his second tally of the year.
