INDIANAPOLIS --- Leadership of one of the NCAA's most high-profile committees changed hands this month. Greg Christopher, Xavier University Director of Athletics, officially became chair of the Division I Committee on Infractions on Sept. 1. The NCAA made the official announcement today.
And while the outgoing chair led the Division I Committee on Infractions through significant improvements to the process, the new chair is at the helm of an established committee confident in its promise to deliver fair, consistent decisions.
Christopher took over the role after Southeastern Conference Commissioner Greg Sankey's three-year term as chair ended.
