CINCINNATI - Xavier women's soccer took down cross-river rival Northern Kentucky on Sunday night, using goals from andd to sercure the 2-1 win over the Norse. Xavier took a 2-0 lead into the break, but NKU responded shortly after halftime to pull within striking distance, but the Norse were unable to score the equalizer before time expired.
Xavier moved to 4-3-1 overall, and 4-1-1 at home. NKU moved to 3-4-0 on the season.
