SOUTH ORANGE, N.J. - Four Musketeers scored in double figures on Friday night as Xavier women's basketball picked up an 80-76 BIG EAST road win at Seton Hall. The Musketeers swept the season series versus the Pirates, improving to 11-10 (2-8 BIG EAST) on the year. Seton Hall dropped to 13-8 (5-5 BIG EAST).
• Xavier opened the game by scoring nine unanswered points capped by a ' three-point play. The Musketeers led 11-2 with 6:22 on the clock before Seton Hall responded by using a 10-0 run to take its first lead of the game, 12-11. The Musketeers closed the first quarter on a 9-2 run capped by an Owens three pointer as the quarter ended, giving Xavier an 18-14 lead.
