Formica Corporation and Xavier Men's Basketball Plant 2,420 Trees

CINCINNATI — Highlighted by a run to the NIT Championship, the Xavier University Men's Basketball Team enjoyed a resurgent 2021-2022 campaign, making 242 three pointers on the season. As part of the annual Threes for Trees promotion, Formica Corporation will now plant 2,420 trees (10 for each made three point shot this season) in conjunction with the Arbor Day Foundation.

In eight years of this partnership, 18,860 trees have been planted on behalf of the Threes for Trees program.

"Finishing the year by lifting up a trophy is a tremendous accomplishment, and the good vibes continue into the offseason as we now embark on our tree-planting mission that resulted from some great shooting by the Musketeers," said Amy Gath, vice president, marketing, Formica Corporation North America.
