CINCINNATI (November 3, 2022) — Fresh off an NIT Championship last season, the Xavier Men's Basketball team is nearing another milestone for the 2022-2023 season with the help of longtime sponsor Formica Corporation.
When the team makes its 114th three-pointer of the year, it will mean that "Threes for Trees" program will have resulted in 20,000 trees planted to help our nation's forests.
Along with the Arbor Day Foundation, Xavier University and Learfield Sports' Xavier Sports Properties, Formica Corporation is proud to sponsor the Threes for Trees promotion. As part of the program (now in its ninth season), ten trees are planted for every three-point basket made by the Xavier Musketeers men's basketball team during the 2022-2023 season.
