COLUMBUS, Ohio - Xavier women's golf standout Emma McMyler qualified for the 77th U.S. Women's Open Championship Presented by ProMedica on Tuesday evening.
The sophomore was competing at the Ohio State University Golf Club Scarlet Course, one of 26 qualifying locations in the United States. The San Antonio, Texas, native placed second in a field of 63 golfers with a 36-hole score of 141 (-3), earning one of three automatic qualifying spots.
The two-time BIG EAST Player of the Year will compete at the U.S. Women's Open on June 2-5 at Pine Needles Lodge & Golf Club in Southern Pines, N.
