NEW YORK - A pair of Musketeers, Ella Rogers and Natalie Bain, were selected to the 2023 Preseason All-BIG EAST Team, as voted on by the league coaches. Xavier was picked to finish second in the league by the conference coaches.
Ella Rogers, a junior midfielder from Granville, Ohio, started all 23 matches for the Musketeers in 2022, finishing third on the team in points (11) after leading Xavier with five assists, and also knocking in three goals. Two of her goals came during NCAA Tournament play, including scoring the the equalizer in the match against Tennessee to help force overtime, where Xavier went on to win 4-1 for the program's second NCAA Tournament victory.
