INDIANAPOLIS - Eight Xavier University teams earned public recognition from the NCAA for posting Academic Progress Rates (APR) in the top-10 percent of their sport for the multiyear rate, ending with the 2016-17 academic year.
"Xavier has always placed an emphasis on excellence in the classroom as well as on the field of play," said Greg Christopher, Xavier University Director of Athletics. "The latest APR shows the dedication of our student-athletes to being exceptional, on and off the court, and is a credit to their efforts, as well as those of our coaches and academic staff.
