There was hope within Xavier University's men's basketball program that the current COVID-related issues wouldn't affect Wednesday's trip to UConn, but the Big East Conference's announcement Monday ended that hope by postponing the Xavier-UConn game because of issues within Xavier's program.
It's now the second straight game the Musketeers have had postponed.
Xavier head coach Travis Steele was scheduled to have a pre-game press conference Monday ahead of Wednesday's road trip, but that won't happen either.
No makeup date has been announced.
