NEW YORK – Following a second-place finish in the BIG EAST regular season, Xavier baseball placed six Musketeers on All-Conference teams, the league office announced Wednesday.
Senior Chris Givin and junior Conor Grammes were both unanimous selections to the All-BIG EAST First Team. Givin earned the honor as the top short stop in the league, and Grammes was unanimously selected as both a right-handed pitcher, as well as the leagues' top designated hitter.
Four Musketeers also earned second team honors, senior Matt Warkentin at first base, junior Natale Monastra as catcher, freshman Jack Housinger at third and freshman Lane Flamm as a right-handed relief pitcher.
