CINCINNATI - Roller derby is back in Cincinnati.
After a 2 ½-year hiatus due to covid, the Cincinnati Rollergirls roller derby team is returning to action with two games this fall: Saturday, Sept. 10 at the Cintas Center at Xavier University and Saturday, Oct. 8 at Sports Plus in Evendale.
CRG normally plays in the spring, but the team wanted to return to public play as soon as possible with two preseason games this fall — including on one available date at Cintas Center — before resuming sanctioned play in 2023. CRG was scheduled to play a four-game home season at Cintas Center in 2020 before the covid pandemic hit.
