Jordan Nwora had a nice year for Louisville averaging 17.2 and 7.5 as a junior. That's particularly instructive in that he (a) was the team's leading scorer this year and (b) was the team's second-leading returning scorer despite averaging 5.7 PPG last year. As much has been made about how bare Chris Mack left the cupboard at Xavier, he wasn't exactly set when he came into Louisville.
I understand the first round loss of the Cardinals was probably cathartic for some Xavier fans, but it wasn't a referendum on Mack at Louisville. He came into an underwhelming roster and took it to the tournament.
