CINCINNATI – Xavier University head coach Chris Mack has earned a third major National Coach of the Year award. Mack was named today as the 2015-16 CBS Sports National Coach of the Year. Mack, who was selected the winner of the 2015-16 U.S. Basketball Writers Association's Henry Iba Award for National Coach of the Year earlier this month, has also been named 2015-16 National Coach of the Year by Basketball Times magazine.
Xavier recorded a final overall record of 28-6 overall and finished second in the BIG EAST at 14-4. XU reached the second round of the 2016 NCAA Tournament.
