Chris Mack's resume gained another bullet line Thursday with a court coach appointment for the USA Basketball Men's U18 National Team training camp.
Coaching selections included Jerry Nichols (Southwest Tennessee Community College) and Joe Niland (University of Mobile) and were made by a committee chaired by Syracuse's Jim Boeheim.
Mack will help with the 26-player camp June 14-18 at the United States Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs. The U18 team is led by Texas' Shaka Smart, with assistance from Kevin Ollie (Connecticut) and Mark Turgeon (Maryland).
"Anytime you can represent your country in a sport that's meant so much to you, it's incredibly humbling," Mack said.
