CHICAGO - No. 19 Xavier picked up a third-straight win, scoring the game-winning goal in the final minute to take the 1-0 win at Loyola-Chicago on Thursday evening. Xavier remains undefeated, moving to 4-0-1 on the season.
The Musketeers held the advantage on offense in the first half, holding a 5-1 lead on shots in the first 45 minutes, with a 2-0 lead on looks on frame, but neither team found the back of the net to go in to the half scoreless.
After the half, Xavier continue to hold the advantage on shots, outshooting the Ramblers 11-2 in the second 45, but the game ticked down to the final minute, still knotted up 0-0.
