That's the problem with planning a college basketball season against the backdrop of the prolonged COVID-19 pandemic, but the Big East Conference is attempting to do just that.
"I think we better have a plan," said Xavier head coach Travis Steele. "You see what's happening with college football right now and we're not that far away. I know it's August ... November will be here before you know it."
According to multiple sources, the Big East is plotting out a number of plans to try and accommodate seasons for men's and women's basketball this winter.
