CINCINNATI - Senior Madeline Britton has qualified for the NCAA Track and Field East Regional in the 10,000-meter run as announced by the NCAA on Thursday. The meet is being hosted by South Florida on May 24-26 in Tampa, Fla.
The Bay Village, Ohio, native will participate in the national semifinals for the 10,000-meter run on Thursday at 9:40 p.m. at the USF Track and Field Stadium. The event serves as one of two national semifinals (east and west regionals) as there is no preliminary race for the 10,000-meter run.
Britton currently ranks 31st in the east region and 77th nationally in the event, posting a time of 34:28.
