As the calendar nears its flip from January to February, Xavier basketball's resume is about to come under greater scrutiny.
As a symptom of the proximity to March Madness, which is now about a month away, basketball programs and fan bases across America will begin paying closer attention to their resumes and how those translate to the all-important NCAA Tournament.
For Xavier, currently the sixth-ranked team in America, there can be little doubt of an NCAA Tournament berth after its success to date. The rest of the 2017-18 season will be about ensuring the best possible seeding.
