NEW YORK - Following the conclusion of the regular season on Saturday, the BIG EAST Conference announced the bracket for the BIG EAST Baseball Championship Presented by JEEP, held at Prasco Park in Mason, Ohio from May 27-30.
Xavier earned the No. 4 seed with a .577 winning percentage in conference games and will open up play against regular season champions UConn. The Huskies finished at 13-4 in BIG EAST play in their first season after returning to the conference. The Musketeers finished the regular season at 25-24 overall and 15-11 in BIG EAST play.
