The Big East Conference and Madison Square Garden announced Sunday a 10-year extension of their agreement to host the Big East Tournament through 2028.
This is good news for Xavier fans hoping to see the Musketeers capture a tournament title at the world's most famous arena.
The agreement also keeps the tournament on its traditional date through the length of the deal.
"It's a big day," Big East Commissioner Val Ackerman said in a televised interview.
