FORT MYERS, Fla. - Xavier women's golf won its second straight BIG EAST Championship on Sunday afternoon. The three-day tournament was held at the Club at Gateway.
The Musketeers posted a 54-hole total of 891 (+27) to win the team title, finishing 13 strokes ahead of Seton Hall (904, +40). Xavier recorded its best round of golf on Sunday, hitting seven-over-par (295).
Senior Morgan Tinsely won the individual title with a score of 221 (+5), the first tournament title of her career. Xavier has claimed the individual title for the second straight conference championship as Mikayla Fitzpatrick won the 2019 title.
