CINCINNATI – Xavier baseball returns to action for a pair of midweek games against Wright State, facing the Raiders in Dayton on Tuesday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. The Musketeers then return home to host the Raiders at 3:00 p.m. at Hayden Field on Wednesday afternoon.
Xavier enters the game at 8-14 overall after taking two of three from Evansville over the weekend in the home-opening series. The Musketeers head back out on the road to face No. 13 Texas for a three-game series.
The Musketeers return 20 letter-winners and six starters from last season's team, which went 7-11 in the BIG EAST Conference and failed to reach the postseason for just the second time in five years.
