CINCINNATI - Xavier baseball fell 5-1 to the Georgetown Hoyas in game three of the series at Hayden Field on Saturday afternoon. Xavier leads the series 2-1 with two games remaining.
They Hoyas took the lead in the second inning, then built it to a 5-0 lead with runs in each of the next three innings. After getting runners aboard without bringing them around in each of the previous five innings, the Musketeers broke through for a run in the seventh, but were unable to bring in another, setting the final score at 5-1.
