Musketeers return home for eight-game home stand, starting with Seton Hall next weekend
PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. - After taking a lead into the fifth inning, eight runs late for Villanova gave Xavier baseball a 12-5 loss in the series finale against the Wildcats. VU took two of three for the weekend, the first BIG EAST series loss for the Musketeers.
Xavier scored a pair of runs in the top of the first and added runs in the second, third and fifth innings to take a 5-2 lead.
