SPARTANBURG, S.C. - Blaine Griffiths hit a two-run homer in the second inning to give Xavier baseball an early lead, but Wofford stormed back to win 16-2 on Friday at King Field.
The Musketeers (1-4) will wrap up the weekend with a doubleheader on Saturday.
• Xavier wraps up the weekend with a Saturday doubleheader, beginning at 3 p.m. and wrapping up at 7 p.m. with both games being played at USC Upstate.
• XU will play Presbyterian first at 3 p.m. and meets USC Upstate at 7 p.m.
• Xavier collected just three hits and scored its only two runs on a homer by Blaine Griffiths.
