CINCINNATI – Xavier baseball head coach announced the addition of , an first baseman/outfielder transferring from West Virginia. DeMartino spent the 2020 season with the Mountaineers and will have four years of eligibility remaining.
In his shortened season at West Virginia, DeMartino went 3-for-10 (.300) at the plate in six total games played, collecting a pair of RBI. He made his collegiate debut on February 18, 2020, against Canisius, finishing 1-for-3 with an RBI, and also drove in a run at VCU. DeMartino earned his first career start at Coastal Carolina, playing in right field.
