The University of Arizona has fired coach Sean Miller, according to a report from Stadium's Jeff Goodman.
Miller's contract hadn't been extended since 2017, when the FBI announced its investigation into college basketball, of which Arizona played a prominent part.
The Wildcats went 17-9 overall and 11-9 this season, but were not eligible for the Pac-12 or NCAA tournaments due to a self-imposed ban this season.
Miller had one year remaining on his contract.
Prior to being hired by Arizona, Miller coached Xavier from 2004 to 2009 after being elevated from the assistant level.
