NEW YORK - A'riana Gray was named the BIG EAST Player of the Week for her on-court performance last week. The sophomore forward helped the Musketeers post a 2-0 record last week.
Gray led the team in scoring (18.5), rebounding (16.0) and steals (6) and hit 51.6 percent of her shot attempts (16-for-31). She added one block and three assists.
Gray had 16 points and 18 rebounds against Bowling Green and posted 21 points (her second 20-point performance this season) and 14 rebounds versus North Alabama. She now has four double-doubles this season.
