CLEVELAND, OHIO – Xavier women's tennis rising sophomore Anna Roggenburk picked the Singles A-Flight title at the 2020 Oracle ITA Summer Circuit event held at the Cleveland Racquet Club.
Roggenburk was set to play Cleveland State's Bethany Yauch in the opening round before Yauch withdrew. In the quarterfinals, Roggenburk faced Victoria Vasquez of Kenyon College, winning 6-0, 6-1 to advance to the semifinals.
In the semis, Roggenburk faced incoming Xavier freshman Blessing Nwaozuzu, who had topped Katie Beavin (6-4, 7-6, 1-0) and Olivia Rondini of Bryant University (6-7, 6-2, 1-0) to reach that point.
