University of Wyoming senior Scott Carter highlighted the Cowboys performance at the Mountain West Indoor Track and Field Championships by winning the triple jump.
Carter won the event with a leap of 51 feet, 8.5 inches and also placed fourth in the 60-meter hurdles.
Junior Jordan Charles was second in the 60-meter hurdles and seventh in the 200. Sophomore Ricky Faure (Rock Springs) finished third in the 800.
For the Cowgirls, redshirt freshman Jerayah Davis (Kelly Walsh) was second in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.37 seconds. Former KW teammate Day Timberman finished fifth in the triple jump.
