Wyoming's Liv Roberts is nominated for NCAA Woman of the Year

Roberts will be among conference candidates first, with the Mountain West Conference announcing its winner in early August.

Roberts, a native of Missoula, Montana, was a three-time Academic All-Mountain West and two-time conference Scholar-Athlete selection. She graduated from UW in May with a degree in elementary education. On the basketball court she was named 2018 MW Player of the Year and was a two-time All-MW player. She was also a two-time member of the all-conference defensive team.

Roberts’ junior season ended prematurely with an ACL injury in the penultimate week of the conference season. Roberts returned to the court for her senior season having missed just the opening game against NCAA Division II Chadron State, completing her four-year letter-winning career.
