University of Wyoming redshirt freshmen Cale Davidson and Hayden Hastings placed at the United World Wrestling Junior Nationals last weekend in Las Vegas.
As a result, both have earned the chance to qualify for spots on the UWW Junior World Team.
Davidson, a native of Wichita, Kansas, placed seventh at 97 KG while Hastings, a three-time Class 4A state champion at Sheridan, finished eighth at 74 KG.
"It was good to see those guys compete," UW wrestling coach Mark Branch said in a release. "We haven't seen a lot of these guys compete since November and that gave us a good gauge of where they are at.
