The University of Wyoming wrestling team begins its dual season on Friday night at Nebraska. The Cowboys are set to dual the Huskers before stopping in Kearney for the UNK Holiday Inn Open on Saturday.
Wyoming appeared as the 20th-ranked team in the latest Intermat Team rankings while Nebraska is No. 15. Friday's dual marks the fourth time that both teams enter the dual ranked in head coach Mark Branch's time with the Cowboys.
Among the intriguing matches is the highlighted bout at 141 pounds between Cheyenne native Bryce Meredith (ranked No. 3) and Nebraska's Chad Red Jr.
