The University of Wyoming wrestling team opens its dual season Sunday when the Cowboys host No. 7 Nebraska.
Leading the way for UW is junior Bryce Meredith, who is ranked No. 4 at 141 pounds by InterMat. Meredith, a four-time state champion at Cheyenne Central, placed second at the NCAA Championships last season.
UW senior Cole Mendenhall at 149 and junior Archie Colgan at 157 both won individual titles at the Cowboy Open and the Northern Colorado Open to open the season.
Nebraska, which opened their dual season with a 42-6 victory over West Virginia, has eight wrestlers ranked by InterMat.
