Wyoming wrestling closed out the regular season with a victory to complete its second-half turnaround.
The Cowboys defeated Utah Valley 29-10 on Saturday, which was their fifth win in their last six duals. Wyoming finished the season 6-6 overall and 4-4 in the Big 12.
After losing the first match of the dual, Wyoming won four consecutive bouts to take an 18-4 lead. During that stretch of wins, Bryce Meredith (141 pounds) and Chaz Polson (165) pinned their opponents.
The Cowboys return to action on March 5 at the Big 12 Championship in Kansas City, Missouri.
