LARAMIE -- Wyoming wrestling coach Mark Branch has signed a contract extension that will keep him with the Cowboys through 2022-23, the program announced Tuesday.
“I’m excited to have the opportunity to continue what we started here,” Branch said in the release. “The commitment that the University of Wyoming has made towards the wrestling program has given us the tools to be successful, and I’m excited about what the future holds.”
Branch's teams have gone 100-49 overall and 49-14 in conference action in his 10 years at Wyoming. The Cowboys have sent 51 wrestlers to the NCAA Championships in that time, with 12 earning all-American status.
